Struggling with Chronic Pain?
If you're living with low back pain or sciatica that makes even simple movements a challenge, you're not alone. As the pain worsens, simple movements become agonizing, causing you to cut back on family time, give up hobbies, and fight through each workday. If this sounds familiar, you don't have to accept this as your new normal.

If you're like most of our patients, your journey to find relief has been frustrating and filled with temporary solutions. Your search for relief likely began with pain medications and muscle relaxants, then progressed to physical therapy. You've probably tried regular chiropractic care and MRIs, only to find that even advanced diagnostics often fail to provide clear solutions. At that point you're really only left with treatment recommendations like cortisone shots or surgery to manage the pain.
If you don't know where the issue is coming from, or what's causing it, you're left just guessing at how to find relief.
Physical therapy, pain medications, cortisone shots - these can all be effective tools when used appropriately. But without knowing the exact cause of your pain, it's like reaching blindly into a toolbox and hoping you grab the right instrument.
You're not receiving ineffective treatments; you're receiving treatments that aren't tailored to your specific condition.
What's needed is an approach that starts with a comprehensive, specific diagnosis. Unlike conventional approaches that often fall short, our methodology is designed to provide a comprehensive, tailored solution to low back pain and sciatica.
Do you take insurance?
We are in-network providers for Medicare and Personal Injury cases. We are not in network with other insurances to ensure we can provide the highest quality of care possible. This approach allows us to provide personalized treatment plans, diagnostic methods, and cutting-edge techniques without the limitations often imposed by insurance companies. Our focus is on delivering the most effective care to achieve lasting results, which we believe leads to better health outcomes and lower healthcare costs in the long run.
What is the process like to become a new patient?
Our new patient process is designed to provide you with the most effective, personalized care possible. We believe in addressing the root cause of your health issues, not just treating symptoms.
On your first visit we'll perform a comprehensive diagnostic session which is crucial for understanding your unique health situation. We perform a full Health History Consultation, 30-Point Exam, full spine Nerve Assessment, and Full Spine Digital X-rays. This thorough approach allows us to uncover underlying issues that might be missed in a standard exam, ensuring we have a complete picture of your health.
After carefully analyzing your results, we meet again for a secondary visit to review our findings. We'll explain everything in detail, helping you understand your body's current state and why you're experiencing certain symptoms. Then, we'll present a tailored treatment plan designed specifically for your needs. This visit is your opportunity to gain clarity on your condition and understand which tools we'll need to employ to lead to lasting improvements in your health.
By investing time in this detailed process, we can provide you with more accurate diagnoses, more effective treatments, and ultimately, better long-term health outcomes. Our goal is not just to relieve your current pain, but to set you on a path to optimal health and prevent future issues.
Do I need to take X-rays?
X-rays are essential to our diagnostic process. They allow us to thoroughly examine your spine before treatment, ensuring we provide the most accurate and effective care. We perform all X-rays in-house for your convenience. However, if you have full-spine X-rays taken within the last year, we can use those instead. Also, if you have a contraindication (e.g., radiation therapy, pregnancy), please let us know and we will modify accordingly with a more detailed postural examination. Our goal is to have a complete picture of your spinal health to tailor our treatment to your specific needs. This approach helps us deliver the best possible outcomes for your health.
How many visits will I need and how much will it cost?
This depends on your goals, as well as the extent of the problems. The first step is our thorough Funneled Diagnosis™, which includes a case history consultation, 30 point exam, nerve assessment and full spine x-rays. We will be able to give you an estimated timeline as well as budgetary cost to achieve your health goals.
Will I get adjusted on the first day?
Typically, we don't perform adjustments on the first visit. Your initial appointment is dedicated to comprehensive diagnostics, including a thorough examination and imaging. This allows us to accurately identify the root cause of your issues before beginning any treatment.
If you're experiencing extreme pain, our doctors can provide an adjustment on the first day if absolutely necessary. However, for most patients, waiting for a complete diagnosis results in more beneficial results. Our priority is your long-term health, not just temporary symptom relief.
Which doctor will I see?
We assign a specific doctor to your case after your initial diagnostic appointment. This approach allows us to match you with the practitioner best suited to address your unique health needs, ensuring optimal results for your care.
You'll typically meet your assigned doctor on your second visit, after we've thoroughly reviewed your case. If you have a preference based on our online profiles, we're happy to note your request. However, our primary goal is to pair you with the doctor we believe will be most effective for your specific condition.
Why do you gown your patients?
We ask patients to change into a gown from the waist up for their adjustments to ensure the most accurate and effective treatment possible. This practice offers several important benefits:
It allows our doctors to directly observe crucial indicators of your spinal health, such as visual swelling, temperature differences, and muscle tension around specific joints.
It enables our diagnostic instruments to work with minimal interference, leading to more precise readings and assessments.
This level of detailed observation helps us diagnose more accurately and tailor our treatments more effectively to your specific needs.
By using gowns, we can provide you with a higher standard of care, resulting in more targeted treatments and better outcomes for your health.
How often do I need chiropractic care?
The frequency of your chiropractic care depends on your specific condition and how long you've been experiencing issues. Initially, you may need more frequent visits as we address pain or structural problems. As your condition improves, we'll gradually reduce the frequency of your appointments.
Our ultimate goal is to transition you to a maintenance plan with less frequent visits. This approach helps maintain your progress and prevent future issues. Think of it like dental care - regular check-ups keep your spine healthy and catch potential problems early, even when you're feeling good. However, our aim is for you to need us less over time.
Do you treat children?
Yes, we provide chiropractic care for patients of all ages, from infants to seniors. Our precise technique ensures that treatments are safe and effective for everyone, including young children.
Chiropractic care for children offers significant benefits by allowing us to detect and address potential spinal issues early. This early intervention promotes healthy spinal development and supports overall growth and well-being. By fostering proper spinal health from a young age, we can often prevent issues from developing or worsening as children grow, setting the foundation for lifelong wellness.
TESTIMONIALS
5 out of 5 stars
"Here is a perspective from someone who was not a believer at all in Chiropractic care. I stumbled upon this clinic at a local city fair we were having and I had been struggling with severe sciatica for over 2 years. Dr. Zak was so thorough in his approach and explaining to me where we would be correcting based off of x rays.
The best part after about 3 months I have no more pain. It's gone. I know there is still work to be done to completely fix these lower back issues but having the relief after 2 years is something you can't put a price tag on. My experience here has been nothing short of amazing."
"Wow! The team here is awesome! I was referred to Intero by a coworker, and never took her up on the offer. I finally had enough of being in constant pain and made an appointment. The approach is different from what I have experienced with chiropractic care - and that's a good thing! The staff here is wonderful from the front desk team, to my case manager Ryan, to my chiropractor Dr. Megan. I would 100% recommend Intero to help you through your healing journey."
"THANK YOU Dr. Jerry and team! I HAD to follow up with a review because these guys really are miracle workers. My 16 year old son somehow injured his back weight-lifting and exacerbated the injury by attempting to roll out on a spiky foam roller. He literally could not turn and it was a pain to walk, sit, and even more painful getting up. I encouraged him to just ice and ibuprofen and sleep it off but it didn't work.
We immediately made an appointment with Intero and they were able to take us in that day. After one adjustment, my son felt instantly better, the pain was nearly GONE and he was able to move! We signed up for 5 weeks of care and couldn't be happier for maintenance and overall structural correction so he can continue to grow optimally without spinal issues."

Here is a perspective from someone who was not a believer at all in Chiropractic care. I stumbled upon this clinic at a local city fair we were having and I had been struggling with severe sciatica for over 2 years. On this particular day I was in so much pain so figured I would give their pitch a listen.
Dr. Zack was so thorough in his approach and explaining to me where we would be correcting based off of x rays. The x Ray was very comforting knowing they were using data to address what was wrong and causing the pain.
My whole experience here from appointment reminders to being able to easily reschedule adjustments if needed was 10 out of 10.
The best part after about 3 months I have no more pain. It's gone. I know there is still work to be done to completely fix these lower back issues but having the relief after 2 years is something you can't put a price tag on.
I'd highly recommend coming here and taking a dive of faith if you were skeptic like I was. My experience here has been nothing short of amazing.

THANK YOU Dr. Jerry and team! I HAD to follow up with another review because these guys really are miracle workers. You can't fix a problem you can't pinpoint. Unlike conventional methods that often provide generic diagnoses like "low back pain" or focus too narrowly on a single symptom, we conduct a comprehensive analysis. By considering all factors, we can identify not just what hurts, but why it hurts.
Once we've identified the root cause, the next step is applying the right treatments in the correct sequence. By tackling issues in the right order, we often find that correcting one problem naturally aids in resolving others, creating a positive cascade effect in your healing process.

We work with your body's own healing mechanisms, addressing underlying dysfunctions in your nervous system, posture, and movement patterns. This principle is about creating the optimal conditions for your body to do what it does best – heal and thrive.
Pain can be misleading – it might decrease before underlying issues are fully resolved, or persist even as your body improves in other ways. We employ advanced technologies like digital postural analysis, bilateral weight scale analysis, and regular nerve scans to get a complete picture of your healing journey.

Health is not a destination; it's an ongoing journey. We develop a customized, long-term plan that evolves as you progress. As you improve, we'll adjust the plan, gradually empowering you with tools and knowledge to maintain your health independently. This approach prevents relapses and ensures that the progress you've made becomes your new normal.
