What Would Your Health Look Like if it was Being Investigated by Sherlock Holmes?

I know, I know… That is a loaded question.

But I think we can all agree that Sherlock Holmes was one of the most incredible private detectives the story books have ever seen! Here’s the reason why….

Not only did he use inductive reasoning based on indisputable facts, but he also correlated all the information he had so that he could get to the bottom of each case. What a brilliant concept!  So brilliant in fact that it is the same philosophy that we adopt at Intero Chiropractic when it comes to helping you reach YOUR health goals.

Full spine digital x-rays tell us, first and foremost the extent of structural deterioration, how your body has compensated over time, how your spinal cord and spinal nerves are likely being affected, if there is something more serious in which you should see another health care provider, and HOW to best correct/reduce the problem on you THAT DAY.

Your body is a complex and dynamic organism that is constantly striving to adapt to the ever changing environment.  For that reason, our doctors always correlate what they find on you each and every visit upon brief examination to your unique structural x-rays.  This is how the doctors can deliver the most specific correction for you, thus reduce stress from the nerve system putting you on the trajectory of overcoming your unique health issues, ideal functional wellness, stress resilience and optimal adaptation and expression of health.

Do you feel like you have your very own Sherlock Holmes in your corner of the ring?  If not, call our office today and schedule a complimentary consultation to see if we are the right fit for you!

One major factor associated with ALL-CAUSE mortality and what to do to assess it

I want you to picture in your mind, just for a second, the physical framework of someone you’ve seen recently that is anxious or even depressed

Almost everyone agrees that this person they are picturing is typically hunched very far forward and their posture has shifted significantly from what would be considered normal.

It has been found through research that abnormal posture is associated with poor physical function, impaired pulmonary function, pain and disability and increased mortality.Watch the short video above, to learn how the doctors at Intero Chiropractic take each patient’s care to the next level but visually evaluating your structure each time you come into the office and things you can be looking for in your friends and loved ones to help them be more proactive in their health.

How To Use A Cell Phone

1 out of 2 of you will be reading this on your phone…

How to use a Cell Phone:

We all have cell phones. Even my 3 year old nephew has a mobile device!

But has anyone ever thought about the best ways on how to use a cell phone? Because of this, I thought I’d make some simple steps to follow.

The chances of you reading this blog post on your cell phone is pretty high. In fact, research from Statista showed that about 52.2% of all website traffic across the world is viewed through a mobile device. Due to this, we have started seeing an increasing number of concerns regarding the spine…

If you’re reading this on a cell phone, consider your posture:

  • Is your cell phone in your lap or by your waistline?
  • Is your face looking down?
  • Are the muscles at the base of your neck and shoulders feeling tense?
How to use your cell phone

Due to that annoying neck pain, Dr. Robert shows you how to properly use a cell phone in order to find relief!

  • Option 1: Fist Under Elbow Method: Make a fist with one hand. Place it beneath the opposite elbow. Bring your cell phone toward your face, not the other way around.
  • Option 2: Dual Elbow Action: Place both elbows against the side of your ribs. Hold the mobile device with both hands. Bring the cellphone toward your face.
  • Option 3: Take A Break! Sometimes we just need to give technology a break. Go for a walk, get some exercise, have a great conversation with the person next to you.

These are simple ways to improve the health of your spine and reduce the tension in your neck. Try them out! If you still find that you are having lingering neck pain, consider scheduling an evaluation.

Sometimes, chronic postural stress can lead to damage of the spine and irritation of the nerves. Neurological and structural chiropractic care can reduce pain and correct the function of the spine.
